Course Objectives

The course is designed for students to illustrate phenomena in different areas of Engineering Technology and expose to the uses of measuring instruments

To familiarize with the basic manufacturing processes and to study the operations of various machine tools and equipment used in Mechanical Engineering workshops

Demonstration and hands-on training in some selected sections

Essentially student should know the operations and applications of the various machine tools and equipment employed in engineering industry including electrical, surveying, civil and renewable energy resources and systems( basically solar PV and thermal)

The student should also be aware and learn the engineering terminologies for better understanding of the scope of the study
